Account Director (Maternity Cover)

One year Maternity Cover contract with the possibility of a Full time role.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Account Director on a 1 year maternity contract with the potential for a full time contract

The successful candidate will possess an excellent track record in activations and experiential marketing.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong judgement, sound client counsel and people management skills, as well as account management with excellent planning, implementation and evaluation skills on consumer campaigns working to deadline and within budget. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced professionals working on a portfolio of high profile Irish and international brands.  As the day- to day client contact you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction as well as workflow, the quality of output and financial responsibility.

  • Take briefs accurately demonstrating that you get brands and that you understand what the client is looking for because you have the experience and you’re able to add value to the process
  • Penning client proposals which support creative, innovative and strategic direction. We want somebody who thinks outside the box, goes above, beyond and can deliver vision with passion and confidence
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a team of Senior Account Managers and Account Managers
  • Good writing and presentation skills for pitches, presentations and feedback reporting
  • You’re good with numbers. Effective management of projects to ensure margin and revenue opportunities are maximized and that clients get value for money

Essential Experience Required:

  • Two years’ minimum experience working in an agency at Account Director level with a proven ability to manage diverse workloads and priorities
  • Experience with consumer brands
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent communications skills, great time management and strong leadership skills
  • Strong ability to manage budgets on behalf of clients and costs on behalf of the agency
  • Experience in developing new business strategies and proposals
  • Ability to deal with the unexpected and work to tight deadlines
