Last weekend Dublin streets were bursting with colour for the annual Pride Parade – the largest event of Pride Week. An estimated 60,000 people flocked to the capital to take part in the festival celebrating the LGBT+ community.
Stretching from St.Stephens Green right down to Smithfield Square, the theme of this years parade was ‘We Are Family’, which featured colourful floats from LGBT+ organisations and other companies.
Verve were lucky enough to be apart of such an incredible occasion working with our clients to help fly their Pride flag.
We took Amazon employees on a Voyage of Discovery aboard The Love Boat! Safe to say they all found the pride within, flying their flag high and dressed in sailor themed uniforms.
Bringing this years theme, ‘We Are Family’ to life we created a mosaic of photographs of Microsoft employees and featured them on the side of an open top bus, bringing them all together in one big family portrait.
Celebrating diversity in the workplace Aer Lingus set up ProudFlies, a LGBT and Allies Network with the aim of building an inclusive, open community. We worked with the airline and built a float based on their signature aircraft design, showing that pride truly does fly.
Google celebrated using the hashtag #Pridefor with giant hearts filled with the things they were most proud of – family, friends and community.
Smirnoff has a 20 year history supporting the LGBT community. For the fourth year running the brand teamed up with the Mother gang to throw the Mother Pride Block Party in the iconic Tivoli Theatre. We helped them with all things event branding for the ultimate pride party.
