To celebrate 50 years of the famous “Beanz Meanz Heinz” slogan, we worked with the Heinz Ireland marketing team, who tasked us with the design, build and management of a bespoke pop up cafe in Dublin and Cork.
But this was a cafe with a twist. Instead of taking traditional currency as payment, we asked customers to “Pay for Beanz by social meanz” by posting a photo of their experience in the cafe on social media and tagging it with #HeinzBeanz50. For this we created brand new social media channels for the Heinz Beanz Cafe on Instagram and Twitter.
The campaign was an overwhelming success.
