As thousands descended on The K Club for Ireland’s biggest golf event, we were on hand to help our client eir Business deliver a unique, fun and engaging fan experience that kept onlookers coming back for more.
As the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open’s main sponsor, eir Business invited spectators to put their golf knowledge to the test with a true or false challenge – a bespoke, gameshow style quiz that was designed especially for the client.
Rory McIlroy wasn’t the only big winner last weekend. While the pros teed off on the course, fans battled it out in the eir Business tent for the top place on the quiz leaderboard and many returned to try and beat their top score. While some performed better than others, eir brand ambassadors we’re on site to hand out over 6,000 eir branded spot prizes to participants.
For budding players who wanted to show off their golf technique, we also designed a mini golf challenge for our client, which saw golf fans try to putt and win a 4 ball at The K Club.
eir brand ambassadors also snapped photos of visitors all weekend and uploaded them to a Facebook gallery in real time. Images were sent to fans email addresses so they could easily share their weekend memories with friends on social media.
To top it off, eir Business provided high speed wifi and complimentary phone charging stations for guests.
Now that’s what we call a hole-in-one!
