We run through 9 of our favourite Instagram that all event professionals should be following.
1. Event Creative – @Eventcreative
Chicago-based events company, Event Creative, post stunning pictures from their clients’ product launches and events. They regularly share their advice, about show how paying attention to seemingly small details at an event can make a huge difference in quality. We couldn’t agree more!
2. Huge Inc – @HugeInc
Brooklyn digital agency, Huge Inc, produce cool and simplistic campaigns for brands like Vans and Nike. Their Instagram is a visual treat, as they regularly share slick graphic design concepts, animations, and beautiful photographs.
Huge knows that an agency is only as good as the people it employs, and the company regularly allows employees to curate the Instagram feed to post their own work and inspiration behind it.
3. David Monn – @david_monn
David Monn wrote the book on organising formal events… literally. His book ‘The Art of Celebrating’ runs through how he pulled off organising high-profile formal events at the White House and MoMA. For him, planning a memorable event comes down to three things: authenticity, scale, and detail. His mantra shines through on his Instagram account.
@amcny is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. Their mission is to promote health and well-being of companion animals through advanced treatment. No list could be complete without BizBash. Each month nearly 225,000 unique users visit BizBash.com for venue discovery, event style, technology and new tools to enhance their next event. Their spin-off Instagram account is just as popular, updated daily and showcasing the best of the best.
6. David Stark – @david_stark_design
Brooklyn-based designer David Stark and his talented design and management team have seamlessly curated some high-profile events for the likes of Jean-Paul Gaultier and Louis Vuitton, as well as private functions for New York’s elite.
7. Jung Lee – @jungleeny
Another NY-based event planner is Jung Lee. She works for Fete NY as an event planner, but it’s her personal Instagram account that really packs a punch. Weddings and formal events are her specialities, and when she’s in the management seat you know it’s going to be an elegant affair.
8. Robert Storey – @storeyrobert
Robert Storey and his team specialise in spatial design and create stunning brand retail experiences. His team at Storey Studio have produced unique and stimulating displays for the likes of Nike, H&M and Christopher Kane.
9. Levy NYC – @levynyc
Levy NYC are full-service lighting, video and sound specialists based in Brooklyn, and their Instagram account is chock full of ideas on how to make your event pop with strategic lighting.
